ASTRO Firmware 36797 Download: What You Need to Know

For Astro Gaming devices, you may need to download the Astro Command Center software (available for Windows and macOS), which automatically fetches the correct firmware, including 36797. astro firmware 36797 download

For Astro Gaming A50 Headset:

Close any open audio applications on your PC.
Open Astro Command Center.
Connect the A50 base station via USB to your PC.
Place the headset on the base station and ensure it is powered on.
The software will detect available updates. If version 36797 appears, click “Update Firmware”.
Do not disconnect the USB cable or power off the headset during the process (takes ~5 minutes).
After completion, the base station LED will flash, then return to a steady state. Power-cycle the headset.

Select "Reboot to upgrade" and click Create.
Insert SD card into powered-off Astro device.
Press and hold the reset button (inside the AV port or next to USB) while plugging in power.
Release after 10 seconds. The burn process will begin automatically.
