Autodesk Inventor Nesting 2025 is a true-shape nesting utility integrated directly into the Inventor environment to help manufacturers optimize material yield from flat raw stock. As part of the Product Design & Manufacturing Collection, it is not sold as a standalone product but functions as an essential add-on for sheet metal and CNC-focused workflows. Core Capabilities

The killer feature this year is True Shape Nesting within the assembly environment. Imagine you are designing a complex weldment with formed sheet metal parts. In the past, you had to flatten each part manually. Now, Nesting 2025 recognizes the unfolded geometry directly from the 3D model. If you change a flange angle or add a cutout in the 3D model, the nested layout updates automatically.
