- Format a second USB drive as exFAT or NTFS.
- Create a folder on it called
batocera. - Inside that, create a
romsfolder. - Plug it into your Batocera machine. It will automatically mount and appear alongside the internal ROMs.
What You’ll Need:
- A USB 3.0 flash drive (minimum 32GB, but 128GB+ recommended for PS2/Wii games).
- A PC to prepare the drive (Windows, Mac, or Linux).
- The Batocera ISO for your hardware (choose x86_64 for standard PCs, or RPi4/RPi5 for Raspberry Pi).
- A ROM collection and BIOS files (from your own legally owned games).
