Borderlands Pre Sequel — Modded Save Ps4 Link

Modding a Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel (TPS) save on PS4 is a multi-step process because PlayStation 4 saves are encrypted. You generally have two main paths: using Save Wizard for a direct PS4 edit or using Cross-Save to bridge a modded PS3 save to your PS4. 1. The Modern Method: Save Wizard (Direct PS4)

Use the "Cloud Save" or "Cross-Save" feature in the game's main menu. Borderlands Pre Sequel Modded Save Ps4

1. Abstract

  • Brief overview of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and its loot-shooter mechanics.
  • Definition of "modded saves" (user-modified save files granting altered stats, unlimited resources, or rare gear).
  • PS4’s closed system vs. PC modding.
  • Summary of findings: modded saves are possible via save-wizard or cross-save methods but violate Sony’s ToS and may affect online play.

Step 3 – Edit the Save with Gibbed

  • Download Gibbed Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Save Editor (PC).
  • Open the decrypted .sav file.
  • You can now:
    1. Backup your save data: Before making any changes, backup your existing save data to prevent loss.
    2. Create a modded save: Use a save editor software to create a modded save. This can involve editing character stats, item quantities, or other game features.
    3. Transfer the modded save to your PS4: Copy the modded save to a USB storage device and transfer it to your PS4.
    4. Install the modded save: Use the game's built-in save system or a third-party tool to install the modded save.

  1. Thank you so much for offering an explanation.
    Best regards

  2. One thing to note – if you install / sideload the provided 2.9.0 APK Google Play will by default auto update it to 3.0.0 (as it’s the market version) – I just went to v3.0.0 on play store and disabled auto update for just the HiQ app – so far so good!

Also would like to second the above comment – appreciate the explanation and making the 2.9.0 APK available – which I installed so I don’t have to change my existing workflows (b/c I’m lazy… plus seems like the app private storage is the only update, so not like I’m missing any new features, or some security issue or anything).
