Tracing the trajectory from the Golden Age of Hollywood’s vertical integration to the contemporary era of media conglomerates and streaming platforms, the analysis focuses on how major studios—such as Disney, Warner Bros., and Netflix—structure production, manage intellectual property (IP), and respond to globalized audiences. The paper argues that while the core economic logic of studio production (risk mitigation, serialization, and star power) remains intact, the distribution landscape has been fundamentally reshaped by digital technologies, leading to new forms of content creation and consumption.
