What it is

DevilutionX Character Editor is a community-created tool for viewing and editing Diablo (original) save files used with DevilutionX (the modern source-port). It lets you inspect and modify characters: stats, levels, inventory, spells, experience, gold, quests, and more. Use cases: fix corrupted saves, transfer items between characters, experiment with builds, or create custom characters for single-player.

Step 3: Integration Add a menu item in the main toolbar: Tools > Item Workbench devilutionx character editor

• Stats: Strength, Magic, Dexterity, Vitality, Life, and Mana. You can max these out or fine-tune them.
• Inventory: You can add items to your backpack, belt, and stash. You can also identify or repair items instantly.
• Quests: You can toggle quest completion flags (useful if you want to skip a specific dungeon level or unlock a portal).
• Spells: For Sorcerers or spell-casting Warriors, you can instantly max out spell levels.

Result: Moving the slider automatically recalculates the Item ID and associated stats in real-time, allowing the user to see the damage range update instantly.
