Pro-Tips for Students:
- Use the built-in tutorials. Exactal provides sample drawings (architectural plans) inside the Help menu. Practice scaling a PDF and measuring linear gutters.
- Ask your lecturer for a class dataset. Many professors have a "practice job" file (a small house or commercial fit-out) specifically for CostX training.
- Don't ignore the BIM tab. Even if you only have 2D PDFs, learn how to import an IFC file. BIM takeoff is the future.
