1. What is the ED64 Plus?
The ED64 Plus is a budget Nintendo 64 flash cartridge, often compared to the EverDrive 64. It allows you to play ROMs from an SD card.
Important: It is not the same as the EverDrive 64. It uses different firmware/OS files. Confusing the two can brick the cart.

- Installation: Firmware is installed by copying a single binary file to the cart’s microSD root and updating via the cart’s boot menu—simple for users familiar with flashcarts.
- Supported ROMs: Wide compatibility with standard N64 ROM images (.z64/.n64). Some uncommon ROM dumps or headerless files may need fixing before use.
- Hardware support: Works with most ED64 Plus revisions and common microSD cards; newer large-capacity cards (128GB+) may require reformatting to FAT32.
