4) Manual update process (offline signatures)
- Download the official update package (signature file or offline mirror) from ESET’s support/download area on a connected machine.
- Transfer the update file(s) to the target computer using removable media or a secure network share.
- Open ESET NOD32 on the target machine.
- Go to Setup → Advanced setup → Update (menu may vary by version).
- Choose the option for manual update or “Update from local directory” and point to the folder containing the downloaded update files.
- Start the update and confirm successful signature/version installation in the update log.
Check for Updates: Open the main program window and navigate to the Update tab. Click Check for updates to immediately download the latest signature files.
