FLEX is CPU-light, but heavy automation can still cause hiccups. Pro Workflow: Find a sound you like in a FLEX Pack. Right-click the channel in the sequencer > "Consolidate track" (or "Render to audio clip"). Now you have a WAV file to chop, reverse, and time-stretch without worrying about the plugin.

- Fix: Inside the FLEX pack (e.g., 808 Warfare), look for presets labeled "808 Slide" or "Glide." Standard notes require the Portamento (Slide) note function in the Piano roll (double click the note, enable Slide).
