Step 9: Leveling Progression (Levels 1-20)

• Levels 1-4: You are fragile. Use a crossbow or Shocking Grasp from range. Do not charge in.
• Level 5: You get Haste and your dueling sword proficiency. This is the install point – the build comes online. Turn on Spell Combat, cast Shield, and go.
• Level 7: Mirror Image. You are now effectively immortal vs. physical attacks.
• Level 11: Improved Critical (15-20). You will crit on every third swing.
• Level 13: With Empower Spell (via a rod) your Shocking Grasp crits for 15d6 x2 damage.
• Level 17+: You are a god. Solo the Beneath The Stolen Lands secret boss.

Step 6: Skills and Magus Arcana

Skills: Max out Perception (never enough), Knowledge (Arcana) (For crafting & identification), and Use Magic Device (To use wands of Heal later). Put leftover points into Mobility (for fighting defensively).
