5. Verifying the Update Was Successful

• Launch game → Main menu → bottom-left shows v0.20.16.
• Test a known fixed bug: Try the fishing mini-game at the lake. It should not freeze.

• The Tech Girl’s route remains incomplete (slated for 0.21).
• On Windows 11 with Auto HDR enabled, some backgrounds appear overexposed. Workaround: disable Auto HDR for this application.
• Save files from version 0.18.x or earlier are not compatible. You must start a new game or import from 0.20.15.
