Once the ISO is downloaded (it will be roughly 4GB to 5GB):
- Compliance: PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry) prohibits the use of EOL software. HIPAA (Health) also heavily frowns upon it.
- Azure & Cloud: Modern Azure agents barely support 2012 anymore. You cannot migrate legacy 2012 VMs to the cloud easily without upgrading.
