3.1 Security Hardening (Critical)
- MACsec 256-GCM added for all 10G/25G capable ports (replaces 128-bit default).
- RESTCONF over TLS 1.3 only – HTTP access is disabled by default.
- Privileged Exec mode timeout – reduced from 30 min to 10 min (configurable).
- SHA-2 based SNMPv3 – SHA-1 authentication is now deprecated.
- Target API Level: Now set to 35. Apps targeting API level 33 or lower will display a compatibility warning.
- Background Location: Stricter enforcement of "when-in-use" permission. Background location access now requires user re-authorization every 30 days.
