Quick configuration example (recommended, single-guest on separate PC)

  1. On guest PC: install Zoom, NDI Tools, Voicemeeter.
  2. Enable NDI output for the Zoom meeting (or run NDI Scan Converter on the Zoom window).
  3. Route Zoom mic to Voicemeeter virtual output; set Voicemeeter output as Zoom speaker (so guest hears program audio minus their mic).
  4. On vMix PC: Add Input → NDI and select guest NDI source; add audio input from guest via NDI or virtual audio input.
  5. Configure audio in vMix: use audio delay/sync if needed, set proper levels, enable mix-minus to prevent echo.
  6. Test locally, then go live.

Simultaneous Camera & Screen Share: By adding two Zoom inputs for the same person, you can capture their webcam and their shared screen at the same time. On guest PC: install Zoom, NDI Tools, Voicemeeter

  • In vMix, switch each NDI audio source to "Follow Input".
  • Uncheck "Master Bus" for those inputs.
  • Route them to Bus A, B, or C (e.g., Bus A for remote guests).
  • Use the External Mixer in vMix to send only Bus A to your streaming output.
  1. Create a new input in vMix by clicking Input > New Input.
  2. Select Zoom as the input type.
  3. Enter the Meeting ID and Meeting Password (if required).
  4. Configure the video and audio settings as needed.
  5. Click OK to add the Zoom input to your vMix show.
